Reflective Tapes Sold by the Metre
To stay visible and safe even in darkness, we recommend using reflective applications—this includes our reflective tapes and trim. These reflect incoming light, for example from car headlights or bicycle lamps, so that other road users notice you early.
We offer reflective tapes in various widths and colours. In general, our reflective tapes are tested for high visibility according to ISO 20471 and are very durable—further information can be found in the fabric descriptions or on request in the relevant data sheets.
If you don’t find the right reflective tape or are unsure which to choose, you can use our free fabric consultation. We’re happy to help!
How do I attach reflective tapes to my clothing?
We divide our reflective tapes into three categories: piping, transfer films and standard tapes. The piping and tapes must be sewn on using a sewing machine—for example, reflective thread can also be used. With transfer films, the reflective elements are ironed on—specific instructions regarding temperature and time are provided in the respective fabric description.
Where should I attach reflective applications?
Reflective tapes are often attached to outdoor clothing such as jackets or vests. Suitable places include strips down the centre of the back, along the lower hem, or on the sleeves of the jacket. It’s also a good idea to add reflective elements to bags or bike bags—either as classic stripes or in more creative shapes cut or formed from reflective tape. The reflective piping is especially visually striking on bags.
